Game Killer is a free puzzle game for Android. It takes the icons of the apps that are already on your phone, distorts them, and asks you to name the app before the timer runs out. It is made by 1337clicks in Amsterdam.

Yes. It is free to download and free to play, and there are no in-app purchases. The game shows ads, and that is how it stays free.

Android phones and tablets with Android 7.0 or newer. Google Play checks your device before you install, so if the Install button works, your phone is supported. There is no iPhone version.

From Google Play, under the package name com.gamefun.killer. Google delivers the same signed APK we build, and keeps it up to date. We do not publish APK files anywhere else.

No. An older Android tool used the name Game Killer to edit values inside other games. This app has no connection to it. Game Killer is a puzzle game and does not change, modify or hack any other app on your phone.

No. There is one version, the free one on Google Play. Files labelled mod, premium, pro or root on mirror sites are not made by us.

Yes, when you get it from Google Play. That version is signed by 1337clicks and scanned by Google Play Protect. If a site offers a Game Killer APK under a package name other than com.gamefun.killer, it is not this app.

The puzzles are built from the icons of your own apps, so the game has to read the list of apps on your phone. That happens on your device. The list never leaves your phone and is never sent to us or anyone else.

Nothing is broken. You installed the puzzle game, and the blurred and pixelated icons are the game. Look at the icon and type the name of the app it belongs to.

Five. You get 10 seconds per icon on level 1, then 8, 6, 4 and finally 2 seconds on level 5. Clear all five and the run counts as a win.

Each right answer pays the base points of the level (100, 250, 400, 550 or 700) plus 10 points for every second left on the timer.

The run ends straight away, and so does running out of time. On the game over screen you can watch an ad to continue a few times, or start a new game.

Tap Hint during a round to pick one of four hints, from a slightly clearer icon to the first letters of the name. Each hint costs one short ad.

Type the name as it appears under the icon on your phone. Capital letters do not matter, but the spelling has to be right.

Mostly. The puzzles are made on your phone, so you can play without a connection. Hints and continues need an ad, and ads need a connection.

No. Statistics, best scores and settings are stored on your phone only. There is no account.

Clear the app data in your phone settings, or uninstall the app. Ad data is handled by Google. The data deletion page has the steps.
