Is Game Killer safe?
Yes, when you get it from Google Play. That version is signed by 1337clicks and checked by Google Play Protect. Here is exactly what the game can see, and what it never touches.
What the game can and cannot see
Your list of apps
It reads which apps are installed, with their names and icons. That is how the puzzles get made. The list is used on your phone and never sent anywhere.
Your own scores
Games played, win rate and best score are saved in a small database on your phone. There is no account and no server that stores them.
The internet, for ads
The game goes online to load ads through Google AdMob. That is what keeps it free, and it is the one place third party data collection happens.
Never touched
Your files, photos, contacts, messages, camera, microphone and location. None of that is needed to show you a blurry icon.
The permissions, one by one
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| See installed apps (launcher apps) | To build puzzles from the icons of your apps |
| Internet and network state | To load ads. The ads SDK checks the connection before it asks for one |
| Vibration | For haptic feedback on taps. You can turn it off in Settings |
That is the full list. No root, no ADB, no accessibility service, no screen overlay, and no permission to install other apps.
Ads and your consent
Game Killer shows banner ads, the occasional full screen ad between games, and optional rewarded ads for hints and continues. They come from Google AdMob, which may collect your advertising ID, device type and rough location from your IP address.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent on first launch through Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time under Settings > Privacy settings in the app.
All the details are in the privacy policy. To remove your data, see data deletion.
How to spot a fake Game Killer APK
- The real app has the package name
com.gamefun.killer. Anything else is a different app. - There is no mod, premium, pro or root version. A file with one of those labels is not ours.
- The real app never asks you to allow installs from unknown sources.
- The real app never asks for root, and never offers to change coins or scores in other games.
