Pixel puzzle
The icon drops to a handful of big pixels. You get the colors and almost nothing else.
How to beat it: read the colors first. Two or three main colors narrow it down to a few apps.
Every level breaks the icon a new way, so a logo you know by heart can still take the full ten seconds. Here is what each type does, and how to beat it.

A tiny piece of the icon fills the screen. Usually a corner, rarely the part you remember.
How to beat it: look for an edge or part of a letter. Corners often show the background color of the icon.

The red, green and blue channels are switched around. The shape stays, the colors lie to you.
How to beat it: ignore the colors and trust the outline and the symbol in the middle.

Only the edges survive. No fill, no color, just the line where the icon used to be.
How to beat it: trace the inner shape. Logos with a clear symbol give themselves away fast.

A flat black silhouette on white. Round icons all start to look the same here.
How to beat it: check the outer shape. A shield, a speech bubble or a square with a notch is a strong clue.

The icon is cut into pieces, shuffled and turned. You rebuild it in your head before the timer ends.
How to beat it: find one tile you recognize, then match the colors around it.

Heavy blur, so only the rough color blocks come through. Harder than it sounds.
How to beat it: squint. The brightest block is usually the logo itself.

One quarter of the icon is mirrored into a pattern. Pretty, and nasty on short timers.
How to beat it: look at the top left quarter only. That is the real piece of the icon.
On level 1 a pixel puzzle still has some detail. On level 5 it is a few blocks of color, and you have two seconds.
